Nursery and Children's Ministry
We take the care and teaching of your children as of primary importance. Have a safe, clean, comfortable and welcoming place to minister to those children is the constant goal of our Nursery and Children 's ministry staff. Each of our workers are required to go though a thorough background check and must fill out our Ministry Application form. These individuals, as well as their information are then surveyed by our Pastoral staff before being approved to work in the Nursery or Children's ministry.
Teaching and equipping our children by presenting the Gospel in age-appropriate ways is the main purpose of the Children's Ministry. It focuses on two different age groups:
- Nursery: for babies & toddlers ages Birth to 3 years
- Children: for children ages 4 years to 5th Grade
Nursery and Children's ministries are available during the Saturday evening 6:30 service and the Sunday morning 9:00am and 11:00am services and during the Wednesday night service.
Wednesday Evening Elementary School Age
Our Mid-Week Children's ministry is Christ-centered, Bible-based, hands-on and a fun learning experience for children five years old through fifth grade. They are taught Biblical principles and how to apply them in their daily lives.
Please check your child in at The Koinonia Building 15 minutes before the 6:30pm service starts.
