Building Project

There were some people who met one of Jesus’ followers, a man named Phillip. These people had a hunger for God, but had not yet met Jesus.


We believe that Casa Grande and the surrounding area is home to many people who wish to see Jesus.


We believe that God has uniquely placed the ministry of Calvary Chapel Casa Grande in this community to meet this spiritual hunger of so many people.


So we are building an addition to accommodate the growth of our church body.

Building Update August 25

Latest building update from Pastor Pat

One of our members came to Pastor Pat with an idea that really made sense. The idea in short was instead of building a completely new facility on the lot we own next door, what if we added on to our current building? After exploring the idea further, we discovered that a 7,000 square foot addition would give us everything we need—at a significantly lower cost than we first anticipated.


We’ve since met with a builder, Ryan Dale with Titus Building Company, and his architect, Jared Malone with Associated Architects. After several meetings, our elder board has prayerfully decided that this is the direction we’re going to take.


The plan is to add a 7,000 square foot expansion that will include a 500-seat auditorium connected directly to our existing building, where our current back paved parking lot sits. Our current building will be remodeled to meet the needs of other ministries that are experiencing growth, namely CalvaryKids.


We’ve signed an initial agreement for pre-construction services, which will take us through the design and permitting phase. If all goes smoothly, we could be breaking ground by the middle of next year!


This is a major milestone in the life of our church. Please join us in praying that God will give us favor with the city, and with everyone involved in this process. Let’s keep trusting Him to guide each step as we build for the future!

Here is what is happening

Projects like this always go really slow, and then fast and then slow again. All our updates as they happen are below.

  • A New Idea!

    One of our members came to Pastor Pat with an idea. The idea, in short, was to add on to our current building. Instead of building on the lot next door. (Our dirt parking lot) After exploring the idea further, we discovered that a 7,000 square foot addition would give us everything we need—at a significantly lower cost than we first anticipated.

  • Found The Builder

    Church leadership identified and started meeting with Ryan Dale with Titus Building Company, and his architect, Jared Malone with Associated Architects. After many meetings and prayerful consideration. On October 30th, the board signed a contract for the Pre-construction Services with Titus Building Company!

  • Signed With AVL Integrator

    There were a few services the church needed to contract with separately. One of those is AVL (Audio, Video, Lighting) for the sanctuary. After many conversations with several companies, we identified Integrated Production Services as the best option. We signed a design contract with them on November 17th.
