Evangelism

  • Purpose: to share the love of Jesus through words and deeds with our community.
  • Purpose: to share the love of Jesus through words and deeds with our community.

Civic Engagement

  • Purpose: to assist the body in civic engagement.
  • Example of responsibilities: coordinate voting drives, attend school board and city council meetings, understand current issues and advise church leadership on these issues, research candidate platforms, secure voting guides prior to elections.

Social Media

  • Purpose: to manage Calvary Chapel’s social media presence.
  • Example of responsibilities: develop social media strategy, post church related content such as upcoming event news, latest teaching, etc, to church social media sites.

Prayer Team

  • Purpose: to lift up to God the needs of the body.
  • Example: receive emails or other official communication from the church and spend time in prayer for the needs.

Community Outreach

  • Purpose: to serve the needy in our community.
  • Example of responsibilities: volunteer at partner organizations to meet the needs of the disenfranchised in Casa Grande, help with the homeless ministry feed the hungry.

Event Planning

  • Purpose: to execute the planning of special events, such as Resurrection Sunday and Christmas services, conferences, funerals, weddings, retreats, concerts, picnics etc.
  • Sample responsibilities: coordinate decoration, registration, set-up, venue procurement, etc.

Radio “Street” Team

  • Purpose: to increase exposure to KVNG.
  • Example of responsibilities: have a table at community events promoting the radio station, help plan other ways to promote the station.

“Men of Valor” Teams

  • Purpose: to serve the needs of the church and community through repair work, transportation, and other means.
  • Example of responsibilities: provide minor repairs requested by needy families, transport men to medical appointments, help plan men’s activities.
